Instanex FII Index down 0.59%

At close, the Instanex FII Index was down 0.59% at 324.84 (-0.21% at 3 pm) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was down 0.46% (-0.12% at 3 pm). Sensex was down 0.45% (-0.05% at 3 pm) and Nifty was down 0.32% (+0.10% at 3 pm). The other Instanex Owner Indexes were also down – the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was down 0.67 (-0.27% at 3 pm), the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was down 0.55% (-0.09% at 3 pm) and the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was down 0.54% (-0.14% at 3 pm). However, Asian markets were up as well – SET Composite was up 1.75%, Jakarta Composite was up 1.59% and Hang Seng was up 1.23%. Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index, 11 were down, HUL (weight 2.82%) was unchanged and three were up. The main losers were Reliance (-2.01%; weight 15.39%), Bharti Airtel (-1.77%; weight 11.04%) and ONGC (-1.24%; weight 4.47%) and the main gainers were Infosys (+1.06%; weight 13.48%) and SBI (+0.68%; weight 3.77%).
